Disability Network seeks transportation solutions to benefit individuals with disabilities and the wider community.

Our services:
  • Sharing information on rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Supporting individuals, businesses, and organizations in finding and implementing reasonable accommodations
  • Providing details on transportation options in northwest Lower Michigan
  • Developing and facilitating community workgroups to create transportation solutions
Current community projects include:
  • Northwest Michigan Transportation Alliance – Non-emergency medical rides in Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties using volunteer drivers. Call 231.941.2324.
  • Get a Ride. Give a Ride carpooling at NMride.net. Web-based ride share connection throughout the Traverse Bay region.
  • BATA Buddies – Not sure how to access the BATA bus system? Call for a volunteer buddy who will ride with you to and from your destination and teach you how to use BATA transportation. Call Disability Network at 231.922.0903
